Work Ethic

We work just as hard as we play
(Oct. 5, 2015)

Synchronized Sleeping

It is kind of nice when Georgia is sleeping, and I have all of the toys, and Daddy's hat, to my self. (Oct. 4, 2015)

Flat on the Mat

Georgia is refusing to put her pants back on so she is throwing a fit on the bathmat. Drama, drama, drama...
(Oct. 3, 2015)

Bathroom Buddies

I would rather listen to Georgia's stories than try to read a magazine or watch the iPad.
(Oct. 2, 2015)

Life's a Peach

We have been told to savor these last bites of peaches since they are going out of season

Morning Regiment

Gotta get our shoes on and our hair pulled back
(Sept. 30, 2015)

Prescription

For my 15-month check up, as far as I was concerned, the Doctor and his office could go fly a kite. I refused to sit on the scale, wouldn't come out from under the chairs, but finally relented when I realized I wanted to get on with my day. They guesstimated my weight because I wouldn't sit still. How does 25 lbs sound? Apparently, this is pretty typical behavior for someone my age so no prescriptions were necessary. Georgia, on the other hand, self prescribes a nightly regiment of binkies. I think it is about time she kicks that habit.

Cemetery Sights

We are frequent guests of the cemetery but there is always something new to see and explore.

Nothing Runs Like a Deere

When trees in the yard to be cleared, nothing runs like a Deere.
(Sept. 27, 2015)

Storm a Brewing

The photo doesn't do it justice, but there is a nasty storm a brewing behind us. Better get home before the rain starts.
(Sept. 26, 2015)

Say Uncle

It will be a quick visit, which is why we need to maximize our time with Uncle Turkey
(Sept. 25, 2015)

Dockside

Checking crab pots. Watching the sunset.
(Sept. 24, 2015)

Backset Book Club

No need for electronic gadgets when a good book is near. I just hope we don't have a quiz when the car stops.
(Sept. 23, 2015)

Stairway to Bedtime

Yes there are two paths we can go by
but in the long run
There's no time to change the road were're on.
(Sept. 22, 2015)

Making Our Mark

We have discovered that markers work well on paper. And other things, too.
(Sept. 21, 2015)

Fair Fun

Petting sheep and eating funnel cake: we were made for the county fair.
(Sept. 20, 2015)

Down By the Riverside

The pool closed a couple of weeks ago. I have a feeling this will probably be our list dip in the river until next summer.
(Sept. 19, 2015)

Batter Up

Hey batter, batter, batter.
Swing batter.
(Sept. 18, 2015)

Zoobilee Zoo

Pink flamingos and tigers and bears! Oh my!
(Sept. 17, 2015)

Clean Hands Club

I hope they don't start making us pay the water bill.
(Sept. 16, 2015)

Ups and Downs

If you climb up you must slide down.
(Sept. 15, 2015)

Out of Control Stroll

I had a very enjoyable stroll in the cemetery. Can't say the same for Georgia after she took the wagon off roading.
(Sept. 14, 2015)

Sunday Brunch

A great Sunday begins with church followed by a little brunch
(Sept. 13, 2015)

It's Miller Time!

Cousin Lori came all the way from Kansas to visit us and to interview for a few jobs. We hope she makes the move out east!
(Sept. 12, 2015)

Doorstop

When you are playing outside why waste your time with fun toys when there is a cat doorstop to investigate? And fight over.
(Sept. 11, 2015)

Binky Surgeon

I don't know what we would have done without Auntie Jana! A couple of our WubbaNubs were broken but she was able to sew them back together. Good as new. Thank you!!!
