Catching Up With Helen

Georgia is still working on her words, but that didn't stop her from catching up with Cousin Helen. I wanted to be polite and not talk with my mouth full so I just watched. We can't wait to see Helen in a few weeks!

Busy Hands = Quiet Kids

Whether we are eating a banana or trying to grab Dad's bottle, if we stay busy we are more likely to be fantastic dinner companions.

Car Seat Configuration

I love this new car seat configuration because now I can hold hands with Georgia during the drive.

Minnie Monoply

Since we both love to play with Minnie Mouse, we might have to work out a formal custody agreement.

Friendly Gathering

It has been a spell since we have seen our friends so I am glad we were able to schedule a playdate.

Beet Bumps

These new beet flavored crackers Mom just picked up are pretty good, but who knew we are both allergic to beets? Nothing serious, just some bumps. We are going to call them beet bumps.

Medicine

We don't need a spoon full of sugar to help the medicine go down. We just have to remember who gets what dose.

Cheerful Cherrios

Eating Cheerios with Georgia is so much fun.

Doctor's Orders

After spending much of the winter feeling terrible, we finally decided it was time to visit the doctor. Between the ear infections and the chest congestion, looks like we will need a round of antibiotics to clear this up.

Elements of Art: Texture Hazards

The furry balls and buttons display a unique way to contrast the feel of the piece. Especially when I try to tear them off and eat them.

The People's Hill

In what was going to my first sledding trip down The Hill, instead turned into an extended session at T-Coast. I can't believe they banned sledding on The Hill. And Congress wonders why they have such low approval ratings.

Kicking Back With A Good Book

Why didn't I think about kicking back in my car seat to enjoy a good book?

Goodbye Old Friend

It is with a heavy heart we had to say goodbye to our dear friend, Mickey, today. After struggling with some mobility issues, she was diagnosed with bone cancer. She will always be part of our family and deeply miss. Here's to an eternal life filled with bones to chew and rabbits to chase.
We love you.

My Furry Valentines

Georgia is exchanging Valentines with her classmates tomorrow so Mom made a mad dash to the store to get some. They only had pet-themed cards left, which for our family, was purrrfect.

Teeth Are Not For Biting

Or at least that is what they say in the book. Mom got a mid-morning phone call on Monday about Georgia's behavior in the classroom. Seems she has a real taste for one of her classmates. As with many things in life, let's chalk this up as a teachable moment.

Big Time Beds

Well it is about time! For the first time in MY ENTIRE LIFE, I am finally sleeping in a proper crib. No more bassinet; no more portable crib. A proper baby bed. And we moved Georgia up to a twin bed. The frame isn't here yet but at least she has some room to move around.

Bed Buddies

Whether napping with Dad or playing with the dogs, we sure like to share beds.

Table With a View

Or more like under the table with a view. Georgia was too immersed in her book to even notice the pickle I got myself in.

Big Girl Beds

Georgia is still in a crib and I am crammed into the bassinet. Enough already! When do we get our big girl beds?
