Georgia is still working on her words, but that didn't stop her from catching up with Cousin Helen. I wanted to be polite and not talk with my mouth full so I just watched. We can't wait to see Helen in a few weeks!
These new beet flavored crackers Mom just picked up are pretty good, but who knew we are both allergic to beets? Nothing serious, just some bumps. We are going to call them beet bumps.
After spending much of the winter feeling terrible, we finally decided it was time to visit the doctor. Between the ear infections and the chest congestion, looks like we will need a round of antibiotics to clear this up.
It is with a heavy heart we had to say goodbye to our dear friend, Mickey, today. After struggling with some mobility issues, she was diagnosed with bone cancer. She will always be part of our family and deeply miss. Here's to an eternal life filled with bones to chew and rabbits to chase. We love you. (Feb. 13, 2015)
Georgia is exchanging Valentines with her classmates tomorrow so Mom made a mad dash to the store to get some. They only had pet-themed cards left, which for our family, was purrrfect.
Or at least that is what they say in the book. Mom got a mid-morning phone call on Monday about Georgia's behavior in the classroom. Seems she has a real taste for one of her classmates. As with many things in life, let's chalk this up as a teachable moment.
Well it is about time! For the first time in MY ENTIRE LIFE, I am finally sleeping in a proper crib. No more bassinet; no more portable crib. A proper baby bed. And we moved Georgia up to a twin bed. The frame isn't here yet but at least she has some room to move around.
